So the Drop Bears are back. It was a fun four week holiday, but having so much spare time on a sunday afternoon just didn’t feel right.
This first session was an action packed one for the team. The veteran members were straight to work on the team’s new Swerve Drive system (all designed in house too!).
It’s now at a point where pieces are literally coming together, and we are starting to see the finished product!
As for the rookie members, Half went down to the workshop, and Half stayed in the mechatronics lab. For the next few weeks, it’ll be a series of lessons and activities to help them learn about the tools of the robot constructing trade, after all; it’s never too early to start preparing for build season!
